Tax Season Salutations

Debbie found a new article commemorating just how much fun it is to pay taxes:

Top Earners Pay Taxes So Lowest Earners Don’t Have To

I am happy to embed the budget presentation that Mr. Dan Mannix gave on Monday April 13.  His and Mary Blaine’s depictions of their plans for our money are very interesting to be sure:

When I find the time and energy, I hope to point out a few quibbles I have with their presentation.  Until then, if you watch the video, and have a comment you would like to share with the rest of us, I would be happy to publish any comments you may have on these pages  about the Mannix/Blain budget.  Write me.(click here) The full disclosure budget is not yet available so the pie chart is all we have to go on for now.

I do want everyone to know that either I am blind, or the answer to the question (click to go hear it) I posed at that meeting is not where Mary told me to look for it.   I could not find the present Fund Balance at BCS on the BCS website.   At least she knew what I was talking about, but she did not know the actual amount.  If anyone finds it, please let me know.

Nice to have Pay Your IRS Tax Day behind us, but we still have a to wait a bit for Tax Freedom day.  Life won’t be all that different after that day, but the Government will no longer be taking,, oh,, sorry, demanding everything we earn before that date.  I kind of like that feeling of freedom.
