Meet The Candidates

On October 24, 2013 CHTA will host our local candidates in question and answer forums. We are pleased that many of the candidates have graciously agreed to participate. Both Mr. Colin Read and Mr. Gerard Renadette, candidates for the area 4 Clinton County Legislator seat will join us at 6:30 PM.

Colin Read is an economist, professor, columnist, author, and small businessman. He lives on Blair Road in Cumberland Head and also maintains a vineyard in Mooers and a wine tasting room in downtown Plattsburgh. (read more)

Gerard Renadette worked for 28 year for NYS Department of Correction. Jerry is an active member of the local Catholic Community, having attended a local catholic school for eight years. (read more)

Mr. Tom Metz and Mr. Bill Brudvig, candidates for the Town of Plattsburgh Town Board will join us at 7:30 PM.

Tom Metz served his country for 24 years in the Air Force where he earned five Air Force awards for the development of Combat programs. Upon retirement he began teaching computer science at Clinton Community College. (read more)

Bill Brudvig is best known in the Plattsburgh Area as the developer of Heritage Heights. A graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, he moved to our area 28 years ago. (read more)

The 2 other Town Board candidates Mr. Paul Lamoy, incumbent and Mr. Michael Cashman declined our invitation.

These forums are open to everyone in the Plattsburgh area. Please consider taking this opportunity to personally meet the candidates and to ask them your questions.
